Breaking Bad Season 4 submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2020, 10:34am Season 4 of Breaking Bad is where it starts to go downhill a bit for me, but it was still enjoyable.

The Rise of Heisenberg submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:28am This season starts out with a moment of extreme tension and never really takes its foot off of the gas, even during its (in)famous bottle episode. The entire season revolves around a game of cat and mouse as Walt deals with the escalating consequences of his decisions and actions, culminating in a thrilling series of episodes in which the already slim margins between Walter White and Heisenberg disappear altogether. Here, more than ever, it is clear that Walt is, at his core, a bad dude, driven entirely by greed (no matter what he says) and an over-inflated ego; he consistently makes terrible choices that only worsen the lives of everyone around him, and it is during this season that the characters and audience alike recognize that he may be unsalvageable. Yet, the show is so well-written, and Walt’s descent so incremental, that you still kind of root for him; after all, his adversaries are worse, right? Right? Well, as the season’s exquisite final scene shows, maybe not. This season may come after Walt’s personal turning point, but it’s the season where Heisenberg really comes into his own, and it is equal parts exhilarating and terrifying to watch.
