Breaking Bad Season 3 submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2020, 10:30am Season 3 is still fun and entertaining! We liked it!

The Show's Turning Point submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:27am This season marks a distinct change in tone for Breaking Bad; though the series has always had a sense of darkness to it (even the first few episodes feature significant violence), here is where Walt’s actions finally begin to spiral equally inward and outward, eventually affecting everyone close to him in increasingly dangerous ways. In later seasons, it is sometimes difficult to remember why Walt gave up the seemingly slam-dunk gig he finds in this season, but the story unfolds so naturally here that his eventual course of action seems, if not inevitable, then at least reasonable and still tethered to his (fraying) moral code. Despite a necessarily slow start that calls to mind the first season, these episodes include some of the show’s most frenetic, adrenaline-inducing moments, which culminate in a tragic final act that reverberates in every single episode that follows. The pacing, character development, and acting are as exquisite as the masterful direction, and the show just keeps getting better as Walt confronts his previous decisions and, again, decides to turn toward the darkness within him.
