I don’t watch TV submitted by ccrose on August 30, 2019, 9:09am But I checked out all the seasons of Breaking Bad and I was amazed at how much quality work (=$) was put into the series. The deterioration of a man who had let resentment stay alive for years was primed to go bonkers on his role in a Meth production operation. At first I couldn't understand Cranston’s bitterness until he and Skylar his wife attend a party of his old business partners who cheated him out of a company he’d helped to soar.
Bitterness is bad juju and his willingness to go whole hog on dirty money is evidence.
I’m amazed at how much money is rolled into these series, both on the directing and actors but on locations, filming with movie level cameras and super soundtracks . A good story. Hard to watch people die off.

Breaking Bad Season 1 submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2020, 10:28am The first season of Breaking Bad was really good! My husband and I enjoyed it!

A Slow (But Nuanced) Start submitted by Meginator on June 24, 2020, 7:43pm Content Warning: This series includes scenes with graphic violence and drug use.
The series gets off to a bit of a slow start, carefully putting its pieces in place and setting its wheels in motion, but it’s worth the effort and its subtle genius becomes evident on repeat viewings. The first three episodes function as a self-contained story arc with far-ranging consequences, followed by a couple of more introspective episodes that lead into an explosive (ahem) finale. I recommend that anyone interested in this show approach the season with patience and with a close eye on Walter White’s reactions to the people around him, which set the scene for the rest of his story. The action picks up, but the show’s subtle movements and its intimate characterization has always been its strong suit; it’s present from the beginning and only grows deeper with time to develop.
