COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Surprising Depth and Breadth submitted by Meginator on July 6, 2018, 11:16pm This series is absolutely captivating, concisely and effectively introducing viewers to a stunning array of scientific disciplines that, together, shape our universe, from the most minuscule subatomic particles to the limits of the universe itself, known and unknown. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an ideal host whose sense of humor and genuine curiosity about the world are immediately relatable, making difficult concepts easier to grasp. The series itself is a love letter to the scientific process and the human desire to know more about the universe, celebrating historical discoveries in a distinct animation style that always emphasizes that even the most exalted scientists were, at heart, people who sought to answer questions about the way the world works. I learned much more than I expected to from this wide-ranging series and highly recommend it for inquisitive minds of any sort.
