As powerful, destructive forces start to see Chappie as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo and ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS
More than an Action Movie submitted by mrajraspn08 on January 19, 2016, 6:42pm I expected this to be a standard police action movie, and I didn't think I'd like it--I figured I'd be stopping it halfway through. Imagine my surprise when I realized I was halfway through and didn't want to stop even to get something to eat. This movie is incredibly well-written, with Chappie makes several small motions that make him appear a natural child, and lines are said and several times, I thought how perfect the chosen wording was. You will truly feel for Chappie (I'm not a crier, but I found myself teary-eyed a couple times), and even the characters you want to hate, you will be able to appreciate. I was personally dissatisfied with the ending, but I will say it is an interesting twist. I've actually placed this movie back on hold, and I can't wait to watch it again.
Amazing submitted by kelleyc on July 15, 2016, 5:10pm I thought it was brilliantly done. Yolandi and Ninja are amazing, as is the rest of the cast. You will fall in love with this plucky robot.
Chappie submitted by leenajong on August 5, 2016, 7:43am Good movie though I think Del Patel over acting a bit.
Bad Bunny
submitted by tarascon on July 8, 2023, 10:45pm
Funny zany madcap wacky—the antics of the robotic bunny (it’s not really a rabbit) caught me off guard a few times and almost pissed myself.
I didn’t expect it to entertain me as much as District Nine did. It did.
