Ordered for my kindle... submitted by Kikumatsu97 on July 27, 2015, 5:45pm The story was one I feel has been done many times and lacked the humorous dialogue I'm used to in Weiner's writing. 2 kids meet in a hospital for a brief time, become friends/start dating in high school. Each chapter is one of their stories and while interesting in parts, more so Andy's story than Rachel's, it kind of plodded along.

Re-read your favorite Jennifer Weiner book and pass on this one submitted by kpkozloff on June 21, 2016, 7:35pm I love some of her books, but this was a dud- missing much of the humor and sharp wit of her other stories. I did not particularly like either main character and the need for these two to be together was not convincing.

Told over decades, Weiner's best-seller follows two people who face each other over and over (first as eight years old when they meet one night in an ER waiting room.) and fall in and out of love, with life and seldom with each other. It was entertaining and had some curveballs.
