Decent Contemporary Jazz submitted by Meginator on August 31, 2019, 11:17pm This album didn’t move the needle much for me, but the tracks flow into one another pretty well and the overall listening experience is a positive one. Jimmy Greene’s solos work nicely against the background, and he has a good sense of melodic development that prevents the music from drifting off or becoming boring. Overall this feels like a good example of contemporary saxophone-based jazz.
