Return of Death Cab submitted by Meginator on July 20, 2018, 9:15am This album has a lot of what makes Death Cab for Cutie sound so unique, with its rich metaphorical lyrics layered on top of an air of gentle melancholia. The result is indie atmospherics that feel like a natural evolution for the band, perhaps not as surprising or innovative as their earlier albums but still retaining what it is that lies at the core of their sound.
