COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Best Season submitted by bmarble on June 24, 2018, 10:44am As of the time of writing this review, there are 13 seasons of the show. Season 5 has by far been my favorite. It delves much deeper into the world of angels and demons, heaven and hell, and although I identify as a non-believer, this season truly makes you think about the afterlife. Even if you don't feel that you have the time to watch every season, I highly recommend watching up to this point.

Warning: spoilers ahead submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 16, 2019, 3:48pm In "Supernatural" season 5, the Winchester brothers (again!) save the world from an apocalypse that they actually caused. The brothers also keep falling for the same trick: allowing an angel or demon to posses their body because Sam/Dean thinks he is strong enough to suppress the angel/demon and so trap it within himself. Alternatively, they agree to be possessed because the think the angel/demon taking over their body will give up custody at a later date. Surprise! The angel/demon always renege on this contract. If I have learned nothing else from this show it is that one should never say "yes" to being possessed by any entity, not even an angel.
The season ends with an almost literal deus ex machina solution and the resurrection of numerous characters because no one really dies on this show. Indeed, the show does not even attempt to explain how some of the characters are alive and walking the Earth, as if the writers knew that the show's own internal inconsistency could not be explained.

Armageddon submitted by Xris on August 20, 2020, 9:25pm This is the season where they start the Apocalypse and meet lots of supernatural players, like the 4 Horsemen. But they've also got to have at least one funny one in there, like Changing Channels. Good season. Let's see what's up next!
