dark, absorbing, character-driven submitted by lisa on June 21, 2018, 12:45pm I wouldn't have expected to like this kind of show, if you'd described it to me when I was younger. But I'd liked Six Feet Under so well I thought I'd give it a try. The library can save ya having to pay for Showtime, after all. :D Anyhow, it's lighter on the gore than I mighta anticipated, and some of the characters are great--- particularly some of Dexter's fellow cops. The workplace aspect of the show is pretty good. Of course a lot of the time they're investigating crimes Dexter committed, but that's part of where it gets juicy.

Good seasonal guest stars as the series goes on, too. Enjoy!

Wow submitted by Pooh3238 on June 24, 2019, 9:39pm I shouldn't like this show, but I do. When talking to others about what it is like, doesn't do it justice. In fact, it makes you seem like you're a little strange. Just watch it and see for yourself.
