must try for digital artists submitted by rblackmanholmes on June 22, 2017, 2:02pm it's been years since i had a wacom tablet (i've been getting by on lower quality monoprice and huion brands) so i think i'm a little biased but once i got the cintiq hooked up it was the most fun i've ever had drawing in a long time. if you're wondering whether it'd be worth it to buy your own cintiq, go ahead and check this one out to see if it's the right fit for you.

heads up for anyone who doesn't have an HDMI port--i had to buy an HDMI to DVI-D adapter (female to male) to get the display to connect to my PC. the set already comes with a mini display port adapter, however, if that's the one you need.

Here is the fix for that:
Registry fix for Wacom Photoshop problems after Spring 2018 Windows update
From a CMD window, run the following command

reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pen /v LegacyPenInteractionModel /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

I didn't realize until after I checked it out that I needed an HDMI port on my laptop so it was a little difficult to use. Like being able to rest my hand on the drawing surface (unlike my touchscreen on my laptop).

A level up for artists. submitted by lmangus on August 16, 2020, 6:37pm This tablet changed everything for our child. They've been able to advance their art many times over. Ease of use, although if you check this out, make sure to look up compatibility with your system/computer (we ordered the adapter mentioned in a review above).
They went from just a handful of followers to hundreds in a rather short period of time. Colors and specs are just fantastic.

Fantastic Art Tool - Thank You AADL submitted by nzugris on May 26, 2021, 5:13pm I run a photography business and have been trying to get better at drawing using Adobe Illustrator (I am an amateur). This device is amazing and if you are passionate about illustrating, try it out and buy your own if you find it works well with your workflow. In the end, I realized I am so terrible at drawing that I would rather stick to the line tool and my mouse in Illustrator and not buy my own drawing tablet, yet I cannot tell you how much fun I had using the device (I couldn't wait until the end of the workday to continue improving my drawing skills).
I had no problems connecting the device to my desktop computer and downloading the drivers. The whole process took under 10 minutes.
I also wanted to thank AADL for renting out such expensive and professional tools to the public, whether they are professionals or newbies such as myself.
