I was a tad disappointed. submitted by lisa on August 20, 2015, 9:37am Depictions of home(s)/houses usually stir my heart, but this set of imaginings didn't do much for me.
Beautiful submitted by downing on June 18, 2016, 1:01pm The illustrations were beautiful. I really appreciated the depiction of different people and where they live.
Quirky and cute submitted by h.parsamehr on July 21, 2019, 10:29am I love books that take elements from one page (in this case, the artist's home) and sprinkle them throughout the pages. It shows how the things around us can inspire us to create. I also loved seeing her imagination, depicting where people and creatures (real and fictional) live. Big fan of this illustrator.
Interesting for Kids

Looking through this with a four year old, it sparked questions about different kinds of homes - and that all things (not just humans) have something that we (humans) call home.
You can also see the beginnings of Carson Ellis's more recent (and much loved) book "Du iz Tak".
