A fun book - (mostly) good & realistic interactions between the girls, even if a lot of the rest of the plot stretched belief. I suspect a younger me would have really enjoyed this, although I might not have caught all the allusions or historical references.
I listened to this as a BOCD and it was difficult at first to keep track of the characters. I soon learned that their nicknames were the clue to their personality and that made it easier to keep track, especially as their characters developed within the story. However, it would have been nice to flip back to the early pages of the print book (the introduction of the girls & their families that appear in a 'prologue' or some such) - too bad they didn't include that in the BOCD enclosure.
