Babylon 5 is an outer-space way station, a port-of-call for diplomats, entrepreneurs, and scalawags of all species. Commander Jeffrey Sinclair -- aided by chief security officer Michael Garibaldi, Lt. Commander Susan Ivanova, and resident telepath Talia Winters -- tries to keep apprised of all the intrigues swirling around his little corner of the galaxy, but things invariably spiral out of control.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Cheesy first season submitted by peteralway on August 28, 2018, 3:55pm I started watching this while I was also watching Star Trek: Deep Space 9. My immediate first impression was that the production looked amateurish, but the stories at least held my attention. But by the time I was halfway through the first season, I started to feel that the stories were not particularly compelling. I have friends who tell me to just "skip the first two seasons." Perhaps they are right, but I have to say that if you want some good 90's space station science fiction, I think you'll find Deep Space 9 more entertaining than the first season of Babylon 5.
