Freedom's School submitted by SBNB on July 1, 2019, 8:21pm This is a book about two kids going to school in the time right after slavery was abolished. It was a good book and good for learning about that time period.
Good for young kids submitted by robinmariepeterson on July 2, 2023, 1:30pm This was great for my five year old to learn about white terrorism without being exposed to anything too graphic and with an emphasis on the resilience of a Black community.
