Heffley Family Road Trip submitted by yjun001 on July 24, 2015, 9:43pm In this book, the Heffley's (Greg's family) go on a road trip. Greg's mom has a lot of faith that the trip will be a great bonding experience. The trip starts out with many misfortunes. But through the misfortunes, new lasting memories were made.

Still Funny, No Longer Clever submitted by Sara W on August 21, 2015, 11:19am The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books used to make me laugh out loud, but I think the series is kind of suffering from its success. This entry in the series is the weakest one yet, in my opinion. The jokes were so set-up, you could see the punchlines getting lined up from 20 pages away. Greg's family has always been wacky but they aren't really operating as characters in this story, they were just tools for putting the overwrought jokes into action. I can't even remember any lines I especially liked from Greg! There's always some line that gets a laugh, but this was just so contrived for maximum goofiness that Jeff Kinney forgot to include his trademark wit.
