COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Disappointed...a lot submitted by Kadydja13 on January 28, 2015, 5:06pm Okay, so after watching Big Hero 6, I decided to watch HTTYD 2 since it was getting hype over the year. I was a bit excited to watch this and I decided to go on Putlocker. Was it as awesome as everyone said it was? No. Was it terrible? No. It's just that it was okay, but I don't understand why people call this AMAZING or why it gets so much hype. HTTYD 1 was way better to be honest. I was a little disappointed. The plot was a bit rushed, but the movie was somewhat enjoyable at some parts, but not "the best". I still thought it would change my mind about Big Hero 6, but it didn't. RoTG was also better than HTTYD 2.

I agree submitted by chioma on June 13, 2015, 6:17pm I agree with the review under me. I think that How to train your dragon 2 could have been much better. But it is still a good movie, you find things out about toothless that you never new before and you meet new dragons and (spoiler alert) he meets his mom. It's still worth watching, I guess, but it's not as good as it seems

I thought it was Great submitted by ifechijie on June 18, 2015, 2:11pm I am a very critical person and I thought this movie was GREAT!!! I mean I like the first one, because they kept it within Berk, but this one was good too. The plot was a bit slow but it had me crying for like 20 minutes! If a movie does that, it's good!

Dragons 2 submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2015, 1:24pm Good movie, but it doesn't even come near the original. Oh well. It was still entertaining.

Disappointing submitted by jarroyo on June 24, 2015, 2:31pm I have to say that this film was a bit disappointing. I was expecting it to be better. I think the first one was better, but this one is still worth watching. Not a great movie, but still fun to watch.

Good movie - not as good as the first submitted by EllieN-W on August 30, 2015, 11:32pm Kids liked it, I liked it, but we liked the first one a lot better. Sequels are never as good as the originals. Though this is the rare case where we like the movie series better than the books.

good submitted by lawrencekl57 on June 17, 2016, 1:23pm Both this and the first one have deep overtones which I hope are picked up by kids.

Love it! submitted by wgregory on July 3, 2016, 8:39pm This is one of my favorite movies.

Pretty good submitted by ishhewitt on July 11, 2016, 7:09pm This was a cute story. I think it was very nearly 80% as good as the first one, which is good for children's movie sequel these days.

A++ submitted by Fudail Waseem on July 27, 2016, 2:10pm the 1st was better

Beautiful submitted by mrajraspn08 on August 16, 2016, 10:48am I would only watch the first one to set me up for this one. Absolutely fantastic. The animation is beautiful--I would buy the movie again just for the first five minutes of flying through the sky, and again for the music that plays during it. I almost didn't see it because of my ambivalent feelings regarding the first and my disdain for the stylization of the dragons, but I really love this movie so very much.

Okay submitted by naetdoc on August 10, 2018, 1:29am I enjoyed this movie, but I still think the first movie is a lot better.

Great submitted by anacoluthon on August 21, 2018, 3:28am I'm always wary of sequels, but this is a good follow-up to the first movie. I really like the designs of the new dragons.

Awesome submitted by Rumshaker13 on June 30, 2019, 11:25pm After enjoying the first one, I took a crack at part 2 and loved it. Again, great story and well done. A few sad points, but ended great

How to Train Your Dragon 2 submitted by NiBo on July 20, 2019, 5:52pm It's good, but we prefer the first one.

Another good one! submitted by Abbie D. on July 20, 2022, 12:34pm This was so good! The first will always be the best, but this was an AMAZING sequel! I cried a couple times, but worth it!
