Perfect book for beginners submitted by audreyh on July 3, 2015, 9:45am As someone who is just starting out with sewing, I must say that this is the most comprehensive and approachable book I've found so far. Tilly's enthusiasm for sewing is infectious. More importantly, she guides readers through a progression of projects aimed at building skills and confidence. Intimidating techniques become a series of simple steps with Tilly's expert guidance. I would recommend this book to anyone beginning or interested in sewing.
Flattering styles submitted by thesrays on July 26, 2018, 9:37am Tilly combines impeccable design sense with body-conscious patterns that are accessible to beginning sewists, but fun for intermediate and advanced enthusiasts as well.
