For decades, ex-government agent Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) has been one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as "The concierge of Crime." Now, he's mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: he will help catch the world's most elusive criminals, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone), an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it's going to be one hell of a first day on the job.
DVD, region 1, anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1) presentation; 5.1 Dolby Digital.

Blacklist Season 1 submitted by SBNB on July 10, 2015, 2:43pm Great TV show. And this is a great season of a great TV show. We couldn't wait to start season 2.

Great season submitted by rachelmcglash on August 19, 2018, 4:33pm Great new show. Loves James Spader in this.

Fascinating Mashup of Crime Genres submitted by eileenw on August 26, 2021, 3:19pm What I like about this show (other than the fascinating character of Red played by James Spader), is that this show is a mashup of police-procedurals and robin-hood-style-criminals and criminal-geniuses-you-want-to-root-for-even-if-you'd-never-want-to-meet-them-in-real-life. It has the same things in it that made shows like LEVERAGE and BURN NOTICE appeal to me, but it is notably darker than either of those two shows. Not quite as dark as CRIMINAL MINDS (usually), but it does go to that level sometimes.
