The Wind Rises submitted by SBNB on June 18, 2015, 9:13pm This one was fairly interesting. It started well and the story was pretty good.

Aviation Buffs! submitted by punsingh on July 14, 2015, 4:07pm This is an amazing movie and a must see for all aviation buffs. It features the thrill of not just flying but designing airplanes. It has old fashioned romance and the thrill of spies and war. There is a lot of humor too in the movie. Most people are well versed with the aviation pioneers of the west, but the story of Jiro is no less inspiring and may be even more full of genius.

Great! submitted by mellonir on September 29, 2017, 2:17pm Miyazaki is the BEST!
A fictional story of Jiro, the real-life designer of the A5M, A6M(Zero fighter plane), and others!
Excellent!
He didn't smoke, his wife didn't have TB or die, but he did have lung trouble in his life. Didn't have a sister, either. Great film, though!

Touching submitted by kbahleda on July 3, 2018, 6:28pm This was a very emotional and touching movie for Miyazaki! But it was beautifully created though it was weird that it jumped from childhood to adulthood.

The Wind Rises submitted by avrogers1 on July 5, 2018, 11:46am This was a good find! The animation is done really well and some of the scenes are really pretty. This is a neat story about a boy who dreams of flying and designing air planes. His career and his dreams might just make that a reality! In the meantime he goes on quite interesting journeys and learns a lot about aviation. Personally, I felt like the story could have progressed a little faster, the visuals were great but it was still a little bit slow.

Wonderful submitted by anacoluthon on August 1, 2018, 5:47pm A beautiful film. Miyazaki films always fill me with a nostalgia for a time and a place I've never experienced.
