valuable, but a little dated submitted by eapearce on February 24, 2015, 7:46pm This book has some unique and useful insights regarding growing up and moving through the phases of life. First published in the 1970s, however, it doesn't stand the test of time particularly well. I enjoyed perusing it and taking what I could from it, but the focus on traditional relationships and old-fashioned life trajectories makes much of the psychology in the book difficult to apply to the modern day.
