Part one: Getting ready to write -- Part two: A writer's apprenticeship -- Part three: Challenges and successes -- Part four: Writers at rest -- Part five: Building a book, finishing a book -- Epilogue: Beginning again.
In a series of conversational observations and meditations on the writing process, The Art of Slow Writing examines the benefits of writing slowly. DeSalvo advises her readers to explore their creative process on deeper levels by getting to know themselves and their stories more fully over a longer period of time.

I appreciate this advice submitted by ccrose on August 30, 2019, 7:52pm Because slowing down could be slower than you think. An early stage of writing is tuning in to an idea or image, really a seed that is just resting in your mind and you have no idea what it means.
