riveting aids activism story submitted by Jackie77 on August 21, 2015, 10:07am Very heartwrenching story about the AIDS crisis in the 80's. Some very determined gay men work the hardest they can to get national support and government acknowledgement and assistance to fight the mysterious disease that is being called gay cancer. Julia roberts play a dr who is trying to warn them to stop having sex so they can stay healthy.

So good! submitted by Xris on December 12, 2021, 12:55am I didn't realize for a little while into the movie that this was happening in NYC. They did a great job of portraying a terrible time when people wouldn't talk about AIDS or HIV. The end made me cry. Wish I could show this to my GSA, but it might be too much.
