Great monsters!! submitted by Kikumatsu97 on July 27, 2015, 7:26pm There is a scene in this movie where Rick Moranis (nerdy Neighbor) is running away from a (badly rendered) hyena-wolf monster with red eyes and my 35 yr old husband and I just agreed it's still scary as hell!
We love this movie as a sequel to the first and recommend pulling an all-niter with both at once!

Novelty submitted by markwells on July 23, 2019, 3:19pm Some of the novelty of the first one wore off but this is still an entertaining piece of comedy. You can't go wrong with Bill Murray and crew. Grade: A-.

Some find the plot too weird in comparison, and perhaps I only prefer it because it made such an impression on me as a child. In my hazy memory, the pink slime of this movie relates vaguely to the pink much from The Cat in the Hat Comes Back, and to pink foam in the Ghostbuster Nerf toys I had back then. Trigger warning, the heads on sticks seen did scare my 8 year old.
