Hardly a "Manifesto" submitted by robbo10 on June 22, 2015, 6:57pm This is hardly manifesto. Nor is it an analysis. It is a rather lightweight, dispassionate commentary, Even when he reports on violence, racism and sexism he is dispassionate. It is so dispassionate, in fact the author hardly seems very interested in his subject, which is less football than the problematic role football plays in society and in people's lives. Hence, he hardly raises the interest of the reader.
