I correctly suspected there would be NOT ONE REVIEW here for this AMAZING MASTERPIECE OF A MOVIE!!!!!! submitted by Tassos on December 1, 2022, 8:34am WHAT A MAGNIFICENT MOVIE! A TRUE MASTERPIECE.

I was very plesantly surprised by this movie.

Even though it is a 1953 movie from Japan, at a time that most other movies from there or anuywhere were in depressing B&W, this is not only COLOR, but an EXCELLENT job of a color movie. That's for starters.

What is AMAZING is the content of the movie, the plot, the reactions of the lead actors, everything, until the very end.

ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE. NO WONDER "Intellectual" Ann Arborites (half of whom believed in,..,. horoscopes not long ago) have not appreciated it all these years. WHat is it, are you so "cultured" that your reading skills have lagged and you cannot read the SUBTITLES? (assuming, of course, you don't speak Japanese)
