Hit and Miss submitted by Meginator on July 31, 2019, 11:06pm The concept behind this album is really cool, as it features remixes of classic Disney tunes- and not just the usual suspects. It's fun to revisit some of these now-uncommon songs, and the album features a nice range of electronic musical styles in the remixes. I did have some trouble locating the original versions in some of these tracks, as they incorporate the source material to varying degrees, and some consequently feel like missed opportunities. My favorite track was Shinichi Osawa's re-imagining of the iconic Baroque Hoedown from the Main Street Electrical Parade, which retains much of the flavor of the original but presents it in an entirely new, exciting way. Overall, it's a great concept with uneven execution.
