Early Work Worth Pursuing submitted by emjane on June 19, 2021, 11:32am After getting hooked on Jewell's easy-to-read thrillers, I started checking out her earlier books. This title doesn't follow the page-turning thriller model, but I found that I didn't miss it. Here, Jewell takes more time to develop the characters, and though there's certainly drama and uncertainty, the slower pace was welcome. A pleasant surprise and worth the read!
