Go Nikki! submitted by yjun001 on June 19, 2014, 5:37pm Nikki is just a high-school girl who wants to be popular. However, she is a dork and expresses her dorkiness in her various collections of diaries. Thus, I think living a life in Nikki’s shoes is tough because she doesn't fit in with all the CCPs (Cute, Cool, & Popular) and often embarrasses herself. For one thing, a mean girl (a.k.a. Mackenzie) has always got a plan to sabotage her. Unlike Mackenzie, Nikki is a good person who cares a lot about her friends, family, and community. Nikki shows this characteristic throughout this book. This book is also about how Nikki gets her first start in her career as a pop star. She also has a reality TV show and a crew that follows her around to film eight episodes. With all these complications, will Nikki be able to handle all the drama and the price paid for all this attention?
