"Ben, a sports analytics wizard, loves baseball. Eric, his best friend, hates it. But when Ben writes an algorithm for the optimal baseball road trip, an impossible dream of every pitch of 30 games in 30 stadiums in 30 days, who will he call on to take shifts behind the wheel, especially when those shifts will include nineteen hours straight from Phoenix to Kansas City? Eric, of course. Will Eric regret it? Most definitely"--Dust jacket flap.

Two college grads on a 20,000 mile, one-month road trip submitted by hiker15 on January 8, 2021, 9:49am So disappointing. The title hints at a story exploring 30 baseball stadiums and watching 30 baseball games. But that is a miniscule part of the story. The main story is the 20,000 miles of car rides, the angst of getting to the game before the first pitch, the angst of what order of games to see, the angst of a team going into extra innings or taking longer which might cause them to miss the first pitch of the next game.
