A classic! submitted by smgop on August 7, 2017, 8:02am This movie never disappoints. A true classic.

Just once see what a large scale movie was like submitted by ccrose on August 31, 2019, 6:41pm Cast of thousands! It’s true. Extras were getting work every day of filming. Lots of people in togas. Lots of people Schlesinger rowing a Roman slave boat. It does feel different to know very little was given over to technology because there was none. The chariot race is the classic scene. And it was real! One poor guy got killed trying to clear the track. It was his job. Another era in entertainment.
