In the heart of the city, among the taxis and towers, a small boy travels uptown and down, searching for his friend. Readers will certainly spot the glorious beast, plus an array of big-city icons they can count. Is the dragon taking the crosstown bus, or breathing his fiery breath below a busy street? Maybe he took a taxi to the zoo or is playing with the dogs in the park.

Counting submitted by hyejinkim on July 22, 2015, 12:24am This book is about counting. My son loves it. But not me. Too simple and bored

Have You Seen My Dragon submitted by SBNB on August 1, 2015, 8:48pm Maybe a child would find it fun and interesting. As an adult reading it to my toddler, it bored me more than most counting books.

Find it! submitted by trina05 on July 1, 2019, 11:22am My kids are delighted to spot the dragon and count along. Simple story but my kids really enjoy the illustrations.

Counting to 20 very slowly is excruciating submitted by KimB on August 27, 2020, 10:50am My toddler loved this book and we read it many times. It is adorably illustrated (besides the zoo with sadly small cages) and is fun to read the first half of the first time through. But counting to 20 by counting to first 1, then 2, then 3, on to 20, is excruciating even the first time. By the time we'd read it a dozen times, I wanted to hide the book. That said, my toddler has been ALMOST able to count to ten for over a year now. He can count to ten easily by himself and can almost get to 20 now, so I guess it was worth the pain!

Great counting book! submitted by bcartm01 on June 27, 2022, 7:29pm My son enjoyed using his counting skills in this one and finding the dragons
