Still good but treading water. submitted by eknapp on October 13, 2014, 7:35pm We've kind of plateau'd in volume three, the creative storm has abated for now. The wonderfully funny dialogue is still going strong though.

A cyclops barfs on a baby. A planet uses a psychic parasite to add visitors to its ecosystem. Alana learns to fly. Slave Girl gets a name.

A Strangely Active Lull submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 3, 2015, 9:31pm The engagement from Volume 3 of Saga comes mostly in emotional beats rather than major plot progression, though there is some of that and definitely set up for more. Marko and Alana meeting their idealized author is amazingly awkward and eventful in surprising ways.

Lying Cat continues to be the best, especially in a key scene with the rescued slave girl.

Still hooked submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 15, 2017, 9:42am An excellent 3rd volume of this graphic novel series. The story has both local and universal arcs, both personal and political layers. It's set in space with winged and horned (and TV-headed) species, but touches on decisions and emotions that define what make us human. All this wrapped up in enough action and gorgeous artwork to hook the reader and make it a page-turner. The writer and Lying Cat may be my favorite secondary characters in a graphic novel EVER.

Not appropriate for those under 18, but recommended for those over.

Saga Volume 3 submitted by avrogers1 on July 17, 2018, 11:48pm I loved the first two volumes of this graphic novel series and the third does not disappoint in the slightest.

Graphic violence, language and sex submitted by kathscot on July 11, 2019, 8:58pm Not for kids. The story continues to be interesting
