weird submitted by manz on June 17, 2014, 8:48am A weird and quirky movie. Better than I thought it would be. The dream sequences were kind of annoying, but I loved the scenes filmed in beautiful Iceland.

Throughly Enjoyable and Clean! submitted by j9hutch on June 21, 2014, 2:37am Saw this movie in the theater and really enjoyed it. Clever, creative different and the filming of Iceland was beautiful. I also appreciated that this was a relatively clean movie with very little objectionable the younger set. It isn't really made for kids, but it wouldn't be something I'd be afraid to watch with my kids around and I think my teenager might even enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing the original. Also enjoyed the book (which is a VERY quick read, more like a short story).

Based on an amazing short story submitted by beeniepie on August 27, 2014, 7:27pm The movie is based on one of my favorite short stories. Even though it is a HUGE deviation from the story, it's very much in the spirit of the story. What a brilliant idea to base it in something that happened, Life magazine ending its publication.

Ben Stiller is a wonderful dramatic actor. He holds his own next to Sean Penn. And the skateboarding scene...one of the most beautiful scenes ever.
