Accept the challenge! submitted by Brigid on October 13, 2014, 8:01am This is a movie about accepting life, responsibility and friendship. In the process you change yourself and those around you. Apple's parents did not accept responsibility for her when they found themselves pregnant. Her life was a disaster: abandonment, abuse, neglect, etc. But when she found herself pregnant at 16 and almost forced to abort her child, she was rescued by a shelter for pregnant teens who are keeping their babies and learned about love and healing and restoration of family life. She even taught her father a thing or two about responsibility and you have to believe that her step-mother was appalled at what she almost accomplished! A great story, well-done, emotional and serious but with lots of great people who really only want to help! Enjoy it. It took weeks for me to get it after requesting a copy from the library. It was worth the wait.
