It was nice to finally see a Disney princess movie that could poke fun at its usual formula of "love at first sight." I'm glad that Frozen focused on the "true love" between siblings. The soundtrack was pretty amazing, but the film is a bit overrated.
My son really like the extra short film "Get a horse!" It's a very cute Disney Mickey Mouse black and white short film.
This is a great movie! Boys, girls, and adults can all find something to enjoy. Frozen undermines the traditional Disney fairytale of girl meets and marries boy. The only downside is that the songs are so catchy that young children seem physically unable to stop singing them.
I'm always nervous to check out a movie with so much hype surrounding it, but a friend of mine from high school was on the animation team and for that alone I thought it would be worth it. Some of the songs are downright lame, but I love the fact that it's not just another Disney movie where the man saves the day. Good girl power vibes, funny moments, and who doesn't love Olaf?!
My kids (and also my husband!) really enjoyed this movie. The colors are quite beautiful. The characters of the two sisters are strong and make a positive impression on women. Fun music, I strongly recommend this movie!
I think this film is overrated. This film is sad. I don't want to give anything away (for people who haven't seen it), so I won't go into details. Olaf is a great character. He is hilarious. Mg children love this movie. They like watching it over and over. My daughter runs around the house acting out the movie. It's a lot of fun for kids.
I saw this movie because of all the people raving about it and thought it must be one of the better Disney movies. Unfortunately after watching it I still don't understand what all the hype was about. Not a whole lot happens in the movie and the snowman character who was clearly only there for comic relief is by far one of the most annoying characters I have ever endured. After talking to people I did find out that this movie is more enjoyable if you have a sister and since I don't have one maybe that's why I didn't like it as much. Overall its a decent movie just not as amazing as everyone seems to think.
