A gem. Good story, great cast.

Don't let the B&W deter you

This is NOT an artsy film. I could totally relate to the characters and I swear my relatives have had the exact same conversations! Don't let the black and white format deter you from seeing it, and I forgot about that as soon as the movie started. I'm so glad I saw it since I almost put it back. I figured, "I got it from the library and it won all of those awards, so I'll try it, it won't cost me anything and I can stop it if I don't like it!" The movie grabs you right from the start and finishes well. It will make you laugh and cry throughout which I think is the hallmark of a great movie.

Great Flick

I want to kiss whoever chose this cast. Perfectly done. Touching, hilarious at times and poignant at others, it's a roller coaster journey for a family on a fool's errand. I thought I was going to mind that the film is in black and white, but I didn't. For some reason it totally worked.
