Very Funny submitted by charlottedebaltzo on June 20, 2017, 11:02am I loved this movie and I want to see it performed live someday!

favorite submitted by rjsjwilliams on June 30, 2018, 11:19am One of my favorite movies. The only thing I can say is, if you haven't seen this mad cap movie with Cary Grant, you MUST check it out and watch it -- two or three times.

Arsenic & Old Lace dvd submitted by a2sue on July 20, 2019, 9:52pm The dvd of Arsenic and Old Lace is a joy to watch, despite the fact that there's murder to go along with the comedy of the film! It's a real treat.

Very Odd, Very Funny submitted by Meginator on June 11, 2021, 6:04pm I went into this knowing only that it’s a classic and with no idea what to expect, and I think that’s for the best. That said, this film is both a screwball comedy and a taut, tense thriller, and Frank Capra’s ability to seamlessly slide between the two is almost uncanny. The dark humor and foundational irony hold up incredibly well, and the villains are genuinely menacing, making for a unique and unpredictable cinematic experience that will constantly leave you guessing. This was such a weird and wonderful, and quite unexpected, delight.

Classic Cary Grant submitted by mandevil on July 14, 2021, 8:03pm Slapstick funny and entertaining

Bizarre and entertaining! submitted by KatieD on August 17, 2021, 2:58pm I love Cary Grant and he is brilliant in this film! This is great slapstick and tongue in cheek comedy. Lots of fun!

Screwball Murder submitted by purchasingqueen on August 2, 2023, 9:35pm Cary Grant stars in this story about 'kindly aunts' who poison their gentlemen callers with elderberry wine laced with arsenic and then 'get rid of the evidence' by burying their bodies in the cellar. Not gruesome, like it sounds. More of a drama-dy.

Naughty aunties submitted by tarascon on September 19, 2023, 10:43pm Preston Sturges level wackadoo.
A classic comedy caper.
