Not Very Exciting submitted by monkk on June 17, 2014, 7:44pm As a lover of colorful, vibrant cookbooks, I was disappointed in this book. There are no pictures and the paper looks like news print. I was hoping for a more exciting looking book!

You'll Need a Full Spice Rack submitted by Meginator on August 29, 2020, 4:11pm The recipes in this book often contain huge lists of ingredients, but they tend to consist largely of spices, so they are much less intimidating (and time-consuming) as they initially appear. The soups we tried had tons of flavor, and Reinfeld draws from a number of culinary traditions for a good range of styles and profiles. The instructions sometimes omit steps that imbue the ingredients with more flavor, such as sautéing the mirepoix, but seasoned cooks will find a lot here to love.
