Beautifully Retold submitted by mrajraspn08 on June 17, 2014, 6:53pm This is a beautiful retelling of the fairy tale "The Snow Queen." It continues the story told in Pearce's previous books, though you don't have to have read them to enjoy this. The plot reads like a fairy tale itself, and the characters are diverse and endearing. The backstory is strong, as is the mythology. There are a couple of weak spots, but for the most part, a wonderful book.
