Bryson examines closely the events and personalities of the summer of 1927 when America's story was one of brawling adventure, reckless optimism and delirious energy.
COMMUNITY REVIEWS
couldn't get into it submitted by airgood on August 2, 2014, 4:07pm I found this difficult to listen to, particularly because of Bill Bryson's narrative style that can be hard to follow at times. The premise and vignettes are interesting, but I ultimately gave up (it is like 15 discs long...) and might try reading the book instead.
