Good audio but doesn't save this from being boring submitted by mickplu on July 7, 2018, 6:24am Unlike the other Anita Shreve books that I've read, I could not stomach this one. Part of which is the constant graphic descriptions of the war wounded and the other was due to the stilted plot line involving a shell shocked amnesiac. Many aspects of the plot did not make sense and the romantic twist was evident after reading only a quarter of the book.
