Cloning submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 4, 2016, 12:58pm (Contains spoiler alerts)
This science fiction series begins at a Canadian train station when Sarah, a transplant from Britain, sees a woman who looks just like her step in front of a train and die. Sarah has spent much of her life scamming and stealing, so she decides to take over her doppelganger's identity, at least long enough to drain the woman's assets. Instead, Sarah discovers she is one of at least a dozen identical clones whose lives are endangered by the company that first created them. On this disc, she discovers the conspiracy to kill off her and her clone sisters, and begins to question who is on whose side.
Tatiana Maslany (originally from Saskatchewan, Canada) plays all the clones. This is especially impressive when one considers their widely varying personalities and accents. She, as well as the costume, make up and wig artists who make the characters look different enough that viewers can tell them apart, deserve numerous awards for this difficult achievement.
Warning to viewers: some parts of the show are especially violent and therefore disturbing, including the statement that the clones are not their own people but the property of the company that originally created them.
