Bone Chilling Sociopaths submitted by pkuessner07 on May 14, 2014, 7:05am I watched Season 1 Disc 1 and the first few minutes of Disc 2. And then I turned it off... for good! It is the story of ruthless pathological sociopaths (both Francis and Claire) in Washington, D.C. Francis is a congressman, which currently cuts too close to what may be actually playing out now -- remnants of the Bush Administration and the rise of the Tea party. It is way too hard to watch.
Plain ol' murder would be a walk in the park compared to this scenario. In this story, they kill people one chunk at a time: their career, their home life, their very souls. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
Two friends of mine turned it off after the first disc also.

I'm wondering about all the advertising and marketing that was done for this very sick series.

If there is any redeeming quality, it may explain Washington D.C. and how it draws a certain type of person to work there.
