This is a pity, as the book deserves more of a spotlight of its own. Stone has been covering Amazon for more than a decade for various sources, and draws on that past knowledge as well as massive new reporting and research. The result is a warts and all portrait of Amazon and Bezos that communicates what is genuinely special about the company and its founder without flinching from critiquing both.
