Too Ambient for Me submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:42am This album is a collection of ambient noise tracks that have a bit more to them than the meandering nature of a lot of similar music. Calix experiments with several types of sounds but ultimately coalesces them into something that is usually more interesting than not. I didn’t particularly enjoy this album, but it wasn’t off-putting and a few tracks actively grabbed my attention. It’s not my thing, personally, but it could be a lot worse; at least it’s not boring.
