Clever, and appropriate for the slightly older child submitted by willow on August 12, 2016, 1:40pm This is a great book of Ike finding dark, mysterious things to make ink out of, and then working on his book. There are lots of little drawings off to the side that are best understood by someone who can read for themselves and understand the references (e.g. the difficulty of re folding a map), but even a small child can enjoy the main text.
