Unicorn's Got Sort of a Big Ego submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 4:49pm This book’s story follows a fairly predictable narrative arc, with two distinct characters recognizing each other’s unique qualities and eventually becoming friends, but what it lacks in originality it (mostly) makes up for with charm. The drawings use an interesting combination of black lines and robust gradient coloring, making the illustrations leap off of the page and lending the characters a bit of inherent silliness. This isn’t a standout, but it’s pleasant and has a good moral at its core.
