Jack submitted by SBNB on June 22, 2014, 1:22pm An interesting twist on Jack and the Beanstalk.

Great because it knows its limits submitted by hathaway1066 on August 11, 2014, 9:39am Good in terms of humor and keeping a limited scope/ambition. Doesn't go in for the usual over-done clichés and so on. Very pleasant with hints of oak and pear.

Fe Fi Fo fun submitted by leenajong on August 20, 2015, 9:04pm Didn't think you could make a full length movie from a bedtime story. Excellent!

Enjoyable submitted by kelleyc on July 29, 2016, 6:15am I liked this take on the classic fairy tale. Good acting. Lots of fun.

Surprisingly good cast for such a mediocre movie submitted by timdufresne on August 7, 2018, 8:58am It did, however, prompt me to think a bit about some of the subtext of this story. There is some distressing racial coding going on that the boring plot and uninteresting characters allowed my brain to drift into thinking about. This could serve as a pretty good example in an exploration of themes of colonization in film. Wouldn't bother watching again.

Jack the Giant Slayer submitted by lstorc on July 5, 2019, 10:03pm Jack the Giant Slayer is a pathetic film that lacks in every conceivable element. Recommendation: don't waste your time.
