Light Summer Teen Romance

This is a light-hearted potato chip of a book, that would be called chick lit instead of YA if the protagonists were older than 16 & 17. The story involves e-mail mix-ups, celebrities, small towns, and friends in what the main character calls "Middle-of-Nowhere, Maine". There are just enough serious issues mentioned to keep this from being absolutely saccharine.
